Holiday Photo Contest Entries!

It’s time to start voting! Vote for your first, second, and third choice.

First up – The Skeleton Crew!

Skeleton Crew – On Duty

And the final Skeleton Crew entry – Help, help, I’m stuck in this stupid skeleton suit!

Next we have some amazing Carved Gourds at the Lake Merritt autumn light show!

And a second, even more festive set of Carved Gourds 2:

And of course we have leaf color. Orange Leaves:

Red Leaves:

And Snow on Leaves:

Along that same line, we have Colorful Branches:

And a Magnificent Tree:

Here we have a little bit of New Mexico adobe, including a classic Adobe Gate:

Historic Church:

And a landscape of that same Approaching Storm:

We have a Scary Pumpkin Orange Spider – Yes, he really is that orange; no color filters were used. The rosy background is a salmon-pink patio cement that is common in the desert southwest.

Next we have a couple of ponds, this one at a Wildlife Refuge:

And a pond at a Japanese Garden:

This is Chihuly art; I just thought I’d break up the scenery shots a bit. 🙂

And while we are on the topic of art, this oil painting by my friend Kathleen is called “White Sands”:

Next we have a Gorgeous Sunrise:

And…Utah! First a Rock Wall with Yellow Trees:

Pumpkins and Sunflowers with a very Utah background:

A classic Red Arch:

And quite a Canyon:

Next is a farmstead theme, starting with a Windmill:

And a Mill Wheel:

We’re calling this one Biska-Boo:

Oooh, this just in; Leaf Pile

And Sisters at the Lake

And lastly, the one that I opened the contest with, taken by our friend Tally, Biska’s Halloween Portrait.

Happy voting! I’ll announce the winner on Thanksgiving, so email your votes soon!
