Santa Fe Remodel Update

You’re like, “Wait, what? You’re remodeling the Santa Fe house too?”

Uh, no, not REMODEL, remodel, just a little bit of landscaping. But there are pallets of bricks, yes. And a contractor who didn’t show. So yeah, a lot like remodeling.

Remember the dirt? Something has to be done.

I took a couple hours off of work to be here to meet the delivery, even though my brick layer (the wonderful, inexpensive, kindly, skilled, but totally unreliable Sam) was supposed to be here to move the brick into the backyard as it arrived. He texted me and said, “I will meet them when they deliver…” But I kind of thought I should be there myself just in case Sam didn’t show, and yeah. No Sam. But we’ve got the brick, which will probably be in my driveway for…awhile.

It’s a lot of brick!
