It’s quite possible that the duplex in Ventura that Laura and I lived in for a year when she was in high school has burned.
This map, which is at least a day or two old, shows the fire to be within 2 blocks of where we used to live. We lived on Homer Ave., which you can see there just to the left of the medical center.
I have a lot of very fond memories of our time in Ventura.
